Animal Appliqué Patterns

Dear Quilters,

We would love to come home with you! Many of us have been waiting and waiting to go on new adventures. Froggie is just dying to kiss a princess, Lady can’t wait for her own pond and Lucky is hoping someone will appliqué him an old slipper. Many of you have requested patterns for Hand or Machine Appliqué. I am excited to be making them for you. Let me know if you have specific animals you would like to see added. They were lots of fun to make.  

 

These patterns were designed for Hand and Machine Appliqué. However they can all be converted to a fusible method by reversing the image prior to tracing the pattern sections on to your fusible product. My favorite Machine Appliqué stitch is a short narrow zig/zag stitch.  My favorite Hand Appliqué thread is YLI silk and my favorite needle a #10B (large eye) available from Jean Lyle www.jslyle.com
