Christmas special lecture/trunk show with Kathy

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah

The season is upon us. My house is decorated, eggnog is in the
fridge. I am hoping that Amazon brings those gifts in time.
Still, it feels a bit blue this year. I am totally blessed having my daughters and grandchildren here with us right across the lawn, but I miss my siblings, their families, dear friends, shopping, and holiday get togethers with friends.

The anniversary of my youngest daughter's husband John's death, (after their marriage last December), looms large for all of us.  2020 has brought life changing losses and heartbreak to many other families this year too.  It is my hope and prayer that our faith in love that was shared can never be lost. That treasure of memories will always keep them with us.

I really miss all of you too. Bruce and I loved our life traveling our great country and meeting with other passionate, super fun quilters. I have missed so many show and shares....always my favorite part of guild meetings. Our new home has a wonderful Quilt guild in the area. This year they asked me to do a special Christmas themed trunk show and lecture for their Christmas meeting.

I am making that Christmas Special, lecture, and trunk show available to all of you too!

Visual Impact-
Every viewer and judge's first impression of a quilt. How can you make sure that your quilt will have those key ingredients that make your quilt stand out.

Mastery of Techniques-
Kathy will share some of her favorite techniques to make the craft aspect of our quilting easy, while adding lots of additional visual interest.

Finding your Creative Voice-
Kathy will share tips for developing your own originality. Your job as a quilt artist is to put your self and your unique view of the world into your work. That is what makes quilting so incredibly popular and powerful: so many techniques, so many styles to enjoy.

Please help me with financial impact of not teaching this year by respecting my copyright on this lecture. It is for your use only. Please don't share the link with friends.

I have finally started quilting my new Christmas themed quilt, " The Gift".
It is the only quilt I have made this year. Usually I make about 3 a year. -2020, enough said. I will show you the finished quilt in January. We plan to keep this one in the family. Filled with so many memories of working on it in Shona's living room. Kids moving unit applique birds and presents around in Santa's bag. Creative suggestions from the whole family :)

You are all a gift to me.
Peace, grace, love, and hope to you and your family.
Kathy and Bruce.
