Dear Quilting friends

This is going to be a difficult one to share! My beloved, kind, smart and enthusiatic husband passed away last month. Completely unexpected and sudden. Our love story  lasted 55 years and wil continue for the time I am still here. Kathy McNeil Art Quilts simply would never have happened without his unwavering support and partnership. He loved meeting you guys all across the country and on quilting cruises. He often said, "Quilter's have the biggest hearts". It is true.

American Quilter magazine is dedicating  my 5 part series on Landscape quilting to his memory and contribution to the quilting community.

I will be keeping my on line shop open. Zoom lectures are available too.

My dear friend, Kathy Wylie has invited me to be her classroom assistant at Quilt Canada this year.  Kathy is a frequent BOS winner, quilt judge, teacher and designer. If you happen to be going too, please come up and say hi if we run into each other at the show. Her new lecture on her unique open work technique is not to be missed.

Yes those really are open holes where you see thruough to the black curtain.

One of my favorite things is to get pictures of quilts inspired by some of my patterns. I am especially enthusiastic when I see you have added your own unique touches. Sharon Palmer's rendidtion of " The Language of flowers" pattern is just beautiful. She put pearls all around the border!
