Spring Promise
I want to thank so many of you who sent me cards or added me to your prayer lists. Grief is a bit like trying to keep your heads above Water in a tidal wave. Different for everyone. I'm finally to the point where listening to videos or looking at photos is starting bring smiles instead of sobbing. Ours was an amazing 55 year love story. Loving support offered by all that knew him. My daughter took your orders to the Post office yesterday and came back and told me the post office lady made her cry. "oh, no why I said?'. Because she told me how much they all loved her dad. iso cheerful and appreciative every day in his run. That was my guy!

Looking back at memorie, reminded me of this quilt made in 2003. All of our quilts have stories and memories from chapters in our lives. in this one, I tried to capture as many fiber arts as I could. How many can you find?
It was even made before I knew I would have a red haired grand daughter. Quilting has always brought me into that state of "Flow" where my mind settles, my stress level and B/P quiets down.. I am so grateful to have found this creative place.
'Passing it on" , sharing our stories, techniques, fabrics and creations is a hallmark of the quilting tradition. Today more than ever, I am appreciating this wonderful gift.
