Winter cabin pattern

This is the winter scene from my Learning Landscapes book. 27.5 x 20.5 without borders.  Suitable for raw edge or turned edge appliqué. See Learning Landscape DVD for complete step by step video instructions of how to put this pattern together. 
Batiks with little print and whites with little bits of gray or blue work great for snow. Use multiple prints for your snow area or paint in shaded snow fabrics with the fabric paint crayons. This will make a more pleasing and interesting composition. I used an ombre fabric with gradations for the red Christmas cabin. The side walls should be darker in value.
